California T-Shirts: For Athletes and Alumni

I recently developed a renewed interest in screen printing.  These shirts will be made to order.  Choose from 19 different color combinations.  For more details, please check out California T-Shirts: For Athletes and Alumni on Kickstarter.  There are also additional rewards including postcards, stickers, and "suitcase" packaging.

Shirts will be printed with a very specific type of water based ink.  T-shirts will be gray and will be available in 3 styles: standard cut, fitted cut, and women's cut.  The large logo is available only on the standard cut shirt.  The small logo is available on the fitted cut, and women's cut shirts.

Recyclable, and Upcycled Bowls

Please feel free to email me at ThePopShop@live.com or send a message via the "Contact me" button on the Kickstarter project page.

This project is very simple. It starts out a single piece of flat cardboard with a couple of cuts, a few crease lines, and some adhesive. With a few folds, the rectangle transforms into a bowl.  Please visit the Kickstarter page for more details.

The product will be 100% recyclable. Even the adhesives are recyclable. Some of the materials used to make this product may even contain recycled materials or post consumer content. This project will be manufactured using 100% mechanical processes. No electricity will be used to make this project because each machine is manually operated.

A few years ago, I bought a box of individual packets of potato chips. The carrying case is only used to transport them, however, beyond that the box is thrown away, or at best recycled. I started to think if there is a better use for boxes and packaging.

iPhone Skins Made From Product Boxes

I wanted to make a fun and affordable iPhone skin. I've been noticing that there are a lot of products that have packaging with great graphics. This is a way to extend the life of the artwork on those boxes.

Prototype iPhone Skins and Packaging Concept

These iPhone skins feature logos, images, and patterns from both mainstream and more obscure product packages. They could range from candy, and soft drinks, to office supplies, and games. They will be cut from actual boxes and will have a removable adhesive already applied. There is plenty of clearance for the camera port and flash. Each pack will include a random assortment of 3 iPhone skins designed for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.  Packs for the iPhone 5 are also available.

Below are some prototype samples.

As I was developing this project I noticed that there may be a way to make this product using 100% mechanical processes. No electricity is required to manufacture these products because each machine is manually operated.

This product is 100% recyclable. From the iPhone skins themselves, to the packaging, and shipping envelopes.

These iPhone skins are meant for aesthetic purposes only. Although they may prevent scratches(or cover up existing scratches), they do not protect from damage due to drops. All boxes are clean and do not come in contact with food, chemicals, etc. I have not applied any protective coating so that they can be recycled.  These iPhone skins are produced independently from the brands owners.
